Must have taken intro or level 1 beginner’s courses in some form of traditional yoga for at least one year. You will be expected to hold shoulder stand for five minutes, be willing to attempt a supported headstand, and be willing to push-up into unsupported backbends. Pranayama is introduced in this class as well. It is also a good sign that you are familiar with the Sanskrit names of the asanas taught in a level 1 class.
